¡Qué rico está esto! Tortas Chingonas is not just a name--it's a promise, & hombre, do they deliver! The birria meat plate is the star of the show for me. Roasted for hours, the meat is so tender & juicy it feels like it's been slow-dancing with flavor all day & nite. Every bite melts in your mouth & leaves you wondering if you'll ever eat anything as good again. The sides? Eccentric & unforgettable. Think bold spices, unique textures, & combos that make you nod in appreciation. They don't just sit there--they complete the birria like a great partner in crime. The vibe of this spot matches the food: bold, fun, & unapologetically delicious. If you're not already running to try it, well, you're missing out. Tortas Chingonas will have you saying, "¡Esto sí es vida!"

If you are looking for a legit torta place, you have found it. I half Mexican and all honesty am not too fond of the typical torta. Haven't had one in about 10 years. Yesterday in an attempt to appease an out of towner, we went in search of one. This spot came up on yelp. It is on a busy street and honestly looks pretty sketch from the outside. We found street parking and walked in. There is a Cash Only sign near the register and an atm for your convenience we ordered La Lambada Torta. No regrets. I don't like chipotle or onions so I ordered without but it was amazing. Huge! Food coma for the rest of the afternoon. Flavorful. I definitely would come back again. Love me a good hole in the wall with delicious food.

The La Chingona Torta is massive! The amount of meat and ingredients packed in it makes it almost two meals worth of a torta. The amount of meat was decent and it had pierna, milanesa, jamon, chorizo, salchicha & bacon. It seemed to go together well except for the size of it being unable to eat neatly. The service was good and the staff was nice. There's no AC and the parking is a bit tough to find. It's connected to a money wiring service and whatnot.

Small place, but very tasty food, the tortas are delicious, their hard birria tacos and consomé was delicious. The one thing that people will have a problem with is minimal to no parking.

I tried the La DF torta. It is very good and filling. They have a salsa bar that offers a habanero salsa. I recommend it if you're into habanero. They only take cash or zelle. The service and food was great.

This day was funny cause somehow my husband had dreamt and craved of a Torta and so he had asked me if I knew a place where they make the best tortas. I told him that I shall look around and try a new place for us. What sold us was the name of the place "Tortas Chingonas" well why not, so here we were. They don't have a parking lot but you do have to park on the streets. It is a very small place, they do have seatings. I had actually thought my husband was gonna get the Mamalona or la chingona torta but I guess to start of trying our new place out with the simplest. So he ordered himself a Torta de asada and I got myself a burrito de Labio. I loved it and everything in that burrito had flavor. They also have a Salsa stand.. all you can eat salsas. My husband ate all the torta so he says he loved it and for sure next time he will try the Chingona one. The cook she was very welcoming and very charismatic, made us feel like we were back at home. For a Monday it wasn't busy. I enjoyed our visit and promised we would be back some other day to try their massive Tortas. And also, this place is Cash Only.

Lets be honest. Its a gimmick. Giant Tortas(yes they are literally huge) are the equivalent of 5lb Burritos and 3ft long subs. Its their thing, I get it. But they would rather sell 1 $20 tortas than 20 $8 tortas? I mean other than IG worthy pix, what you really gonna do with the rest of it? I legit can barely eat half, sometimes. You cant eat it later or re-heat it because of the condiments and soggy bread. Taste wise they are good, not great. Not the GOATS of Tortas, but was yummy. Service is what it is. Cash only, its small mexican joint so no dont expect a smile and having your a$$ kissed. Its order & pick-up at counter. Place is not very welcoming, not very clean but not complaining about that. Ambiance is divey, at your own risk. haha Took my chances against food poising and came out victorious.
